Blooming Friday

This Blooming Fricay's topic is Winter Storage. What better than these bees who have started a honeycomb in my Amla tree? The beehive is the size of a Ping-pong ball at the moment. I hope it increases.
This plant in my school garden has put out tiny white flowers for the first time. The flowers have the fresh scent of oranges. Is it a Murraya? The leaves are thick.

The purple hibiscus has started flowering now. It is an old, native variety, which is not spectacular like the new hibiscuse flowers, but I like it.

The French marigold has no fuss. It flowers profusely whenever you plant it.

The Black-eyed Susan, Thunbergia alata is growing like a wild flower everywhere. It is a neat little vine, not invasive.
My thanks to Katarina at Roses and Stuff for hosting Blooming Friday.
My thanks to Totsie of Tootsie Time for hosting Fertilizer Friday.

  2. Hi Ian, it is a bush 5 foot tall. The school gardener said it was a cactus, which it definitely is not. Would it be a jade plant? But the leaves are 4" long and quite firm.It wold be nice if you could identify it.

  3. How neat is that bee hive. I've only seen the paper type nest around here, usually from yellow jackets. Beautiful flowers too! The hibiscus looks a lot like one I have here.
Your link on Tootsie time didn't work so I just came from my blog. I think you can just add another link and she can delete the old one.

  4. Wow, I'd love to photograph a beehive live that! The leaves of the orange-scented plant looks like the Orange Jasmine. Not too sure, though. That hibiscus is one of my favourites too. Nice shots of the other two cheerful blooms!

  9. If your bee hive growns, you might get some honey!

  11. You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which
I think I might by no means understand. It sort
of feels too complicated and very wide for me.
I'm having a look forward to your subsequent publish, I'll attempt to get
    the dangle of it!
